The bodies of two female Russian tourists were found on one of the beaches in Pattaya, Thailand. They were shot to death from a close range by a local guy, Anuchit Lamlert, who says he was just trying to rob the two women, when they woke up and saw him. He then shot them with a 9-mm gun and took the run.
Police records show that Anuchit had frequently snatched gold necklaces and valuables from foreign tourists in the Pattaya area.
