Wafa and I went to the concert of Anouar Brahem, yesterday. It was part of "Jazz A Carthage" (link in french) festival.
Anouar Brahem is the most famous tunisian instrumental musician. We had the chance to be in a perfect spot (2nd row) and we had a very nice evening. He plays Luth, and he had a pianist with him as well as an accordeonist.
The concert started at 9pm with the opening act of "Hazim Chahine", a young Luth player discovered by A.B in Egypt.
Then, at 9:30pm started the main performance until 11pm. 10 songs were played (plus one extra at the end) and it ended up with a standing ovation to congratulate the 3 artists who were brilliant during the whole evening.
